Downs.  The founding president of Clayton Junior College in 1969, who lead the school to a four year institution by becoming Clayton State College in 1995. Collection includes general correspondence files, institutional reports, photos, and of institution implementation and governance of the first 25 years of Clayton State.

Papers and documents created and used by Dr. Richard A. Skinner during his time as president of Clayton State College,  the second serving president of the institution. while also aiding the school into transitioning to Clayton College & State University in 1996.
