Biographical / Historical

In March 1998 the men's track team competed in the Morehouse Relays as their first official varsity intercollegiate program. Mike Mead served as the head coach of the team. The team was primarly made up of the Clayton College and State University's cross country team members in addition to a few spriners added to the teams roster. Team leaders included, at the time, sophomores Gary Ginn and Tye Walker and junior Danny Brock.
