Biographical / Historical
In March 1998 the women's track team competed in the Morehouse Relays as their first official varsity intercollegiate program. Mike Mead served as the head coach of the team. The team was lead by the same two players who guided the 1997 Cross Country Team to a 23rd nationl ranking in the programs first season at the NACC Division II level, senior Mary Schwerdt and junior Aidita Gibson. Team leaders included, at the time, sophomores Gary Ginn and Tye Walker and junior Danny Brock.
