This collection contains offical University System of Georgia Board of Regents Index to Board Meeting Mintues, Board Meeting Mintues, Annual Financial Reports, and Public Higher Education of Georgia Information Digests, and the Commission of Colleges Southern Association of Colleges and Schools: Report of  The Reaffirmation Committee Clayton State College (May 9-12, 1994) publications covering the board's governing of public higher education insitutions in Georgia.  The Board of Regents Collection also includes files from Clayton State's Presidents & Administrative Staff which include copies informational reports, meeting minutes, and Student Advisory Council documents in relation to the Georgia Board of Regents. 

The collection also contains the listing for the Board of Regents 13 chancellors from 1932 to 2017 and a listing of Board officers. Some board meeting minutes and reports from 1960 to 1969 mention the establishment of Clayton Junior College and the former President Dr. Harry Downs, who worked for the University System of Georgia as an Associate Director of Guidance and Testing, Director of Junior College Operations, and was appointed Assistant Vice Chancellor.
