The Cygnet is A Journal of Arts and Literature for Clayton State University.  It is published by the School of Arts and Sciences.  Cygnet’s mission is to encourage creative writing and art by providing a forum for artists and writers to display their works. The opinions and aesthetics expressed in this publication are those of individual writers and artists; they do not necessarily reflect those of Clayton State University’s administration, faculty, staff, or student body.

Campus magazine created in the Spring of 2006 by the Office of University Relations. The intent of the magazine provides an opportunity to share news and information across campus.

Abstract Laker Lines served as (one of two main university publications at time) a communication overview of upcoming campus events to for the Clayton State community. The communication publication existed from, 2006 to 2014. The publication was first geared to the entire academic community in March 2006. But by April of 2010 two separate editions came into publication. The newsletter picks up after the "What's Going on Here" publication ends. The first volume of the CJC Potpourri is missing from the collection. Volumes II and III of the Cyaton Junior College newsletter are within the collection.

Contents include news for and about faculty, schedules, and calendars. The news letter was published weekly.

The printed newsletters are in folders according to academic year. The "What's Going On" faculty newsletter publication collection is complied into two group volumes of editions. Volume 1 contains newletters number 1 - 32 editions. Volume II conttains newletter edtions 1 - 2.
